The Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off is not only one of the largest rib competitions in the world but also one of the best family events on the west coast! Enjoy one of the largest arts & crafts fair in Northern Nevada, a huge Kids' Area loaded with carnival rides and inflatable games, rides, and slides.

We kick-off the event each year with our annual Rib Eating Championship featuring some of the top professional competitive eaters in the world. Come out and watch the world's top competitive eaters inhale pounds of ribs in a matter of minutes! This is one event you do not want to miss. The Rib Eating Championship will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 6pm on the Main Concert Stage.
