| Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful is holding their 18th-annual Christmas tree recycling campaign - now through January 11! You can take your tree to the following drop-off locations: Bartley Regional Park in Southwest Reno, Rancho San Rafael Regional Park in Northwest Reno and Shadow Mountain Sports Complex in Sparks. Drop-off times are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily. A minimum $3 donation will help to support the recycling program. KTMB reminds recyclers to remove all foriegn material from trees including tinsel, decorations, wire, nails, tree stands and plastic bags. Wreaths, yard waste and flocked or plastic trees are not accepted. Click here for all the info. |
